Volunteering is important because it allows individuals to make a positive impact on their communities, gain personal and professional development, and improve their overall well-being. It strengthens communities, fosters a sense of belonging, and provides valuable support to those in need.

Here at The EDGE, we have a number of volunteering opportunities where you can join our friendly, diverse team and be part of a thriving community.

Recovery Hub - Peer Mentor

If you are in recovery yourself from alcohol and/or substance misuse, or mental health issues, and you’d like to help others on their recovery journey, Peer Mentor volunteering may be for you. We work in partnership with CGL – the statutory drug & alcohol service, we provide accredited training and supervision and a beautiful place to volunteer.
