Writing is known to be one of the best recovery tools around and can help refocus, see new perspectives, relieve anxiety and depression and improve confidence.

Whether you are grappling with addiction, mental ill health, in recovery, or not, this is a safe, confidential group to be able express your thoughts, feelings and experiences through the power of written words. Each session, the group starts with a brief check-in, then individually write in 3-4 minute blocks using prompts as a starting point for what ever comes up for you. You have the option of sharing your writing or you can choose not to, where only positive feedback is given. The group then ends with a check-out.

You don’t need any writing experience to attend. Just turn up at The EDGE or online with something to write with. If you would like more information please contact Gail.
